The San Pedro Education Foundation connects community support with real needs in our local public schools, helping educators turn good ideas into meaningful opportunities for students.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2021, supporting public schools and public-school programs across San Pedro.

Real Opportunities.
Every school in San Pedro has ideas worth backing. A teacher who knows exactly what her classroom needs. A principal trying to restart a program students loved. A librarian rebuilding a collection from scratch.
School budgets and traditional funding cannot always cover those things, and they are rarely the kind of request that fits neatly into a line item. That is where SPEF comes in.
We bring together educators, local businesses, families, community organizations and neighbors to help fund the resources, programs and projects that make those opportunities possible. We work alongside the schools, PTAs and partners already doing this work, and we help fill the gaps they cannot fill alone.
